However, profits fell by 15% to $17.7 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla&#8217;s shares dropped nearly 6% in after-hours trading. Co-founder and CEO Elon Musk described these investments as &#8220;quite risky.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the second quarter of 2022, Tesla had converted approximately 75% of its cryptocurrency into fiat, generating $936 million. The profit from this operation was $64 million.
